Clean Your Hot Tub
Begin your backyard fall clean-up by giving your hot tub some TLC. If your spa is in need of a water change, which should be completed every three to four months, this would be a great time to do so. Changing the water in your hot tub can provide it with a “fresh start” for the fall.
If it isn’t in need of a water change, simply test the water using a test kit and treat it as needed. Then, using a hose, spa-friendly cleaner and rag, clean the exterior of the spa, spa cover and cover lifter. Once the hot tub is clean, take some time to inspect the remainder of the installation. Ensure that there is no damage that required a repair, such as a broken step or gazebo part that requires a replacement.

Lighting
Keep the ambiance flowing this fall with romantic lighting. We recommend string lighting around the perimeter of your backyard to ensure the entire area is illuminated. You can continue from there by adding ground lighting throughout your yard and garden, candles with fall scents, and tiki torches. If you have a gazebo installed around your spa, you may want to consider continuing the string lights throughout the top panels for an added effect.
Pillows and Blankets
Keep your family and friends comfortable with outdoor blankets and pillows for your furniture. Think colours and patterns that involve brown, cream, orange, red, and black for a seasonal vibe. Don’t forget to bring these in at night or if it is going to rain.
